Precious T. Yango is a passionate youth and women’s advocate, community leader, and development practitioner dedicated to advancing social and economic empowerment across Liberia. As President of the Tuseme Club (“Let’s Speak Out”) at Stella Maris Polytechnic University and Founder & Chief Executive Officer of the Tall Youth Foundation (TYF), she has distinguished herself as a strong voice for youth participation, women’s leadership, and community development.

Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Stella Maris Polytechnic University and a Diploma in Data-Link Communication from the East Africa School of Aviation, Precious combines technical expertise with a deep commitment to social impact. She has further strengthened her leadership capacity through participation in distinguished programs, including the Women’s Leadership Program, Capacity Building for Youth Leaders, and Community Engagement Workshops organized by the U.S. Department of State.

Throughout her career, Precious has played a pivotal role in empowering vulnerable communities through training, mentorship, and advocacy. She has served as a Training Officer, leading programs on Agricultural Best Practices, Financial Literacy, Leadership Development, and Mentorship for youth and women. Through these initiatives, she has helped individuals develop the skills and confidence needed to improve their livelihoods and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

As a student leader, Precious actively advocates for students’ rights and inclusive representation through the Tuseme Platform at Stella Maris Polytechnic University. Her leadership has fostered constructive dialogue, strengthened student engagement, and promoted positive institutional change.

Under her leadership, the Tall Youth Foundation has implemented initiatives focused on enhancing livelihoods through agricultural development, technological innovation, and community empowerment. With expertise in project management, strategic planning, partnership development, and resource mobilization, Precious has successfully led efforts to build sustainable programs, secure funding opportunities, and expand the Foundation’s impact.

Driven by a vision of empowered communities and inclusive development, Precious remains committed to creating opportunities for young people and women to become leaders, innovators, and catalysts for positive social change.
