The graduation ceremony witnessed the successful graduation of forty (40) learners in the trade areas of driving, satellite installation and catering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He spoke on the THEME: \u201cEmpowering Women and Youth Through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)\u201d. The Speech synoptically focused on the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The Significance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), stressing on its technical significance, considering TVET as the \u201cMaster Key\u201d to success etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Women and Youth as enterprising components of the Workforce (potentialities identified through empirical evidences).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The need to redirect women focus from the traditional TVET areas to male-dominated TVET concentrations.
    4.The role of government in providing the enabling environment to enhance skills acquisition (policies, equipment, dignified and fulfilled job opportunities etc).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Sustained inclusivity of Women and Girls in TVET and the need to foster private sector development in the TVET sub sector.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
