Promoting gender equity and equality in education in Liberia
FAWE Liberia is part of an international organization with National Chapters in 35 African countries. FAWE Liberia has been in operation since 1998. This blog seeks to provide information on FAWE-Liberia’s work and solicit suggestions on how we could improve our service delivery.
Mission Statement
Committed to advancing gender equity and equality in education by influencing policies, transforming societal attitudes, and promoting inclusive practices that empower girls and women to achieve their full potential academically and socially.
We will do this by promoting the importance of girls education in Liberia through: –
- Enhancing Policy advocacy and research
- Demonstrating positive education interventions for scaling up
- Strengthening Community advocacy and empowerment
