FAWE Liberia in partnership with the Ministries of Education and Youth and Sports, held a one-day bridging forum on Tuesday, November 18 at the RLJ Hotel. The Bridging Program is intended to help students or learners transition into new academic or professional environments by closing knowledge gaps.

The Event brought together educational stakeholders from the following institutions, but not limited to:

  1. National Commission on Higher Education (NCHE)
  2. William V. S. Tumbman University
  3. David A. Straz-Sinje Technical and Vocational College (University of Liberia)
  4. Cuttington University
  5. Grand Bassa University
  6. Lutheran University (Esther-Bacon College of Health Sciences)
  7. Monrovia Vocational Training Center (MVTC)
  8. Voinjama Multilateral High School
  9. Sinoe Multilateral High School
  10. Zwedru Multilateral High School

FAWE Liberia extends heartfelt appreciation to every stakeholder for their invaluable contributions including Madam Oley Dibba, FAWE Africa Board Member, Dr. Meima Sirleaf-Karneh, outgoing FAWE Liberia Board Chairperson, Dr. Martha L. Muhwezi, FAWE Africa Executive Director, Teresa Omondi-Adeitan, FAWE Africa Deputy Executive Director, FAWE Executive Directors of Ghana, Ethiopia, Senegal, Malawi, Uganda, ZambiaZimbabwe and staff from FAWE Regional Secretariat (RS).
