The Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) and the FAWE Liberia Chapter, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, have launched a Bursary Support Program for the 2026/2027 academic year for selected institutions located in the following counties: Margibi, Sinoe, Grand Gedeh, Montserrado, Grand Cape Mount, Lofa.
The Partners TVET institutions to apply to are:
- Monrovia VocationalTraining Center (MVTC)
- Booker Washington Institute (BWI),
- Voinjama Multilateral Institute High School,
- Zwedru Multilateral High School
- Sinoe Multilateral High School
- David A. Starz -Sinje Technical and Vocational College (University of Liberia)
The “SECOND CHANCE PATHWAYS FOR INCREASED ACCESS TO TERTIARY EDUCATION FOR MARGINALIZED YOUNG WOMEN AND MEN” also referred to as the FAWE-MASTERCARD FOUNDATION PHASE II Program focuses on supporting marginalized young women and men from economically challenged backgrounds between the ages of 15–25 years who have completed secondary education to transition into tertiary education, with a specific focus on TVET and STEM, and to acquire dignified and fulfilling jobs.
