After five intensive days of collaboration, learning, and vision-setting at the Platinum Hotel, FAWE Liberia’s New Staff Induction, Capacity Building, and Strategic Planning Activity has officially concluded.

This week was designed to seamlessly onboard our new team members while rigorously aligning our internal systems with our long-term programmatic goals—particularly as we scale implementation under the FAWE–Mastercard Foundation Program.

Key milestones from the week include:

1. Comprehensive Onboarding: Understanding of FAWE-Mastercard Foundation Phase II Program, with a deep insights into FAWE’s model – Gender Responsive Pedagogy (GRP) Extended Orientation Program (EOP), TUSEME, etc and safeguarding standards.

2. Operational Strengthening: Enhancing technical capacities in monitoring, evaluation, reporting and inclusive community engagement.

3. Strategic Roadmap: Finalizing coordinated action plans to expand access to tertiary education – Science, Technology, Engineering,  and Mathematics (STEM)  and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), retention and leadership opportunities for young marginalized women and men across Liberia.

We wrap up this week inspired by the dedication, expertise, and passion of our team. Strong institutions build strong futures, and we are more than ready for the work ahead.
