The graduation ceremony witnessed the successful graduation of forty (40) learners in the trade areas of driving, satellite installation and catering.

He spoke on the THEME: “Empowering Women and Youth Through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)”. The Speech synoptically focused on the following:

  1. The Significance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), stressing on its technical significance, considering TVET as the “Master Key” to success etc.
  2. Women and Youth as enterprising components of the Workforce (potentialities identified through empirical evidences).
  3. The need to redirect women focus from the traditional TVET areas to male-dominated TVET concentrations.
    4.The role of government in providing the enabling environment to enhance skills acquisition (policies, equipment, dignified and fulfilled job opportunities etc).
  4. Sustained inclusivity of Women and Girls in TVET and the need to foster private sector development in the TVET sub sector.
