FAWE Liberia

The Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) conducted a Training of Trainers (ToT) Workshop in Kampala, Uganda on February 23-27, 2026.

The Training of Trainers (ToT) Workshop brought together nine (9) Chapters, including but not limited to Ethiopia, Ghana, Liberia, Malawi, Rwanda, Senegal, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The training focused on the following policies or manuals:

  1. FAWE Gender Policy Strategy
  2. FAWE Safeguarding Policy
  3. FAWE Mentorship Manual
  4. FAWE Extended Orientation Program Manual
  5. FAWE Alumni Strategy

The Chapters involved with the training and in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation are implementing the “SECOND CHANCE PATHWAYS FOR INCREASED ACCESS TO TERTIARY EDUCATION FOR MARGINALIZED YOUNG WOMEN AND MEN” also referred to as FAWE-MASTERCARD FOUNDATION PHASE ll PROGRAM.

This Program focuses on supporting marginalized young women and men from economically challenged backgrounds between the ages of 15-25 years who have completed secondary education to transit into tertiary education with specific focus on TVET and STEM and to acquire dignified and fulfilling Jobs.
